1.9Ghz or 2.3?

I see the note advertised in retail stores having 2.3Ghz or when I look on websites that do reviews or comparisons it shows 1.9Ghz? Just wondering which one is it.
The Ghz has to do with the processor speed so faster loading of pages, etc. right?

The device as far as I know should be 2.3Ghz by default...

Otherwise CPU speed is directly related to the processing power of your phone. Meaning how fast it can load certain apps and perform functions for you. Even when just scrolling from screen to screen. Loading times typically depends on your Wifi/Data connection when talking about Internet browsing.

Ah got it thanks plenty for the info. I guess its difficult to trust these review websites as so many of them list the Note 3 as 1.9GHz. So annoying because it invalidates much of there analysis. I was deciding between a few phones, but overall this seems like the best for me. Great battery life, large screen, fast processor. Maybe next time I'll try to venture out for an Xperia as I've seen so many people buying those.

The reason why reviewers list 1.9ghz is because they are referring to the variants in Europe and Asia that got the 1.9ghz Exynos 5 (Octa) processor vs. the Snapdragon 800 2.3ghz that all the US variants received.
