Help 1 character contacts, e.g. "H"

Has anyone had an issue whereby, if a contact only has 1 letter for their first name e.g. "H", when searching for them in the default SMS program, it won't find them?

It seems that the search only 'starts' after inputting the second character.

I, unfortunately, haven't got the wonderful X10 as yet but the missus found this issue on hers (when I eventually gave it back to her long enough to actually use ).

Why not put a full stop behind the letter H, like this "H."

'Cause that'd be waaaaay too easy, that's why!

Missus has actually typed in the contact's full name now, but she was like "Well, my iPhone found it alright...".

I have strict rules in the house surrounding the mentioning of or mere hinting about Apple products. Needless to say the foul mouthed w3nch is in a deep, dark place now lol
