G'day guys
I'm having quite a lot of trouble connecting to my w7 network to access my shared folders.
I've tried a few things, including the security protocol/registry fixes to no avail.
I have a few computers connected to my 'HomeGroup', all of which have access to my shared drive. The drive is available for everyone to read. Only those who are connected to the network via WiFi or cable are able to view these files of course.
My tablet is connected to the WiFi (I use hidden ssid/mac address/password) and my tablet is connected and using the internet.
My username is "Richie" for my computer, but I don't have a password to login to windows.
I've tried logging in with:
- My computers username (Richie) and my homegroup password
- Username with password left blank
- Tried logging in ticking 'Anonymous'
Many other username/passwords which was a long shot, but I tried anyway (IE: homegroup username and password). To my knowledge, only w7 systems can connect to a homegroup, but I tried those details anyway.
So please, any and all help is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Richie
