10) The screen isn't as big as my HDTV hanging on the wall.
9) The battery doesn't last as long as my 6-cell netbook battery
8) I only get one bar of signal when at work at my coal mining job
7) The camera doesn't take as good of pictures as my Nikon D3000
6) The back isn't as flat as my iPhone
5) It isn't 4g (never mind the fact that if you don't live in a major city, we won't be seeing 4g until late next year)
4) Verizon wants to charge me $30 a month to tether (same amount across all their phones and a standard price across the industry.
3) I dropped it onto a hard surface, and it broke
2) It doesn't have an Apple logo on it
1) No T-Pain app.

Nice . . . I do want to comment on the camera. As soon as I heard it had an 8 MP camera, I was like "uh oh". MP is just a marketing gimmick and has no bearing on the quality of the pics. One of my best cameras is a 6 MP Canon S3. For smaller devices such as phones, I'd say less is better. You try cramming that many pixels on such a small sensor and you're asking for problems. I rarely take pic with my camera and when I do I do so with low expectations. It's nice to have cell phone cameras, but I'd rather see a 3 MP cam on a cell phone with better quality than an 8 MP with less quality.
 
Dont judge signal by bars!!!!!! You get good signal its a software bug!!!!
Its a phone camera dont expect it to be a digital camera!!
Its your fault you broke it!!
You want to take it back because it doesn't have a vocoder?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
If the back isnt flat get a case. That solves your dropping problem and and the back problem!!!!!!! Should the screen be as big as a tv?????????

I don't get the camera complaints. I think it takes great pics. I am just an averag Joe though

True. And while some people were hoping that would be a new standard across smart phones, I believe it was simply a way to sell more Pre's as the value wasn't there with those phones, even at a cheaper price.

Awesome thread... it seems like more and more people are complaining about nonsense with the new phones coming out. The really funny thing is that most probably came from a dumbphone.

By the way.... the Incredible is awesome....
 
Hey at least there arent people complaining here about the touchscreen .... over at crackberry there were so many threads for the storm2 with people upset that they had to "click" the screen.....

Many times I wanted to be like "hey nimrod, did you not play with the phone before you purchased it and realize that the screen clicks"

yet i refrain
 
at first i thought why do I always click on the ppl crying about their phone threads then this made me realize it is just for this right here. bravo

Why did you "hang" you HDTV? Did it do something BAD?:(

Can we not photoshop an Apple Logo and make it our Lock screen?;)

There are Apple themed apps in the Market you can get to make your phone look like an iPhone.:D
 
I don't understand the camera complaints. For a cell phone the camera is amazing. Mega pixels only mean so much when the lens is restrained to a certain size. The pictures i have taken and uploaded have gone above and beyond my expectations.
