I used Amazon.com to buy the apps...no beef to install them to receive the coins

It didn't matter. I still have my coins even though I deleted 3 of the 5 apps. I kept Food Network recipes and iHeart radio.

I love it, just click on them through the website, don't even need to bother downloading. I'll have to look to see what to dump those coins on. Maybe a good rpg, or a couple movies or songs, I dunno.

the amazon store version is only for kindle fire devices on gta SA. unless you ahve one of those you cant play that version. the point of buying it is to get teh 2k coins. if you find teh amazon version of teh apk untouched/uncracked it will work fine as it detects you bought it, but just need to sideload it if you really want it.
