Help 1080 @23 or 30 fps

Hi all, I'm considering getting this phone when it becomes available in the U.S. I was wondering if anyone can confirm if video capture is at 23 or 30 fps. Phonearena has the frame rate specified at 23.

I've read other reviews that peg it at 30fps too.

Thanks El Presidente. Not sure why phonearena claims a 23 fps. They were pretty brutal with their displeasure with the frame rate in their review..

I've seen frame rates drop on any number of phones with adverse lighting. I wonder if it was that.

I can confirm that in dim lighting, I got 21 fps, and in bright light I got 29 fps.

This is from sending the file straight to my computer and then examining in Mpeg Streamclip (on a Mac)...hope that helps.

In either case though, the video seems jerky too me!

Do you exceed 30 fps when recording at lower res, say 720p or 480p?
