It's a common bug with the time stamping when using tapatalk/AF app causing it to stamp it as either 12/31/69 or 1/1/70 (the beginning of the linux time/clock)
when i tried clearing data from Google Services to speed up the process of updating my Nexus 10 to 4.3, after rebooting and checking for updates it reported the last date checked as '12/31/1969' as well. odd, was that date significant or did something big happen then that i'm unaware of? I do know that January 1, 1980, reported as a default on PCs whenever the CMOS battery dies, was the date of the first IBM PC release, but i wonder what's so special about the former date given that it not only appears here but made an appearance on my Nexus 10 as well.
