The first request to unlock my One S was 12 days ago. An email confirmation from T-Mo came a few hours later that the request was sent to HTC. I called T-Mo again two days ago, and they said it usually never takes longer than 24 hours, so they sent another request. Still no response from HTC. What gives? Has anyone had issues getting a SIM unlock with this phone, or any HTC phone? I've unlocked plenty of Samsungs within a day or two. This is BS.

If the phone is rooted you can follow this guide [S4][Hack][Root] SIM Unlock for FREE | HTC One S | XDA Forum, it worked on mine.
As far as I know T-Mobile should be able to give you an unlock code much quicker than that, so I can't really help you with that.

Thanks. I may resort to that soon. I'll give them two more days and then I'm done with HTC for life. It's ridiculous that there's nothing anyone can do when the manufacturer outright refuses to provide an SIM unlock. I'll remember this in all future purchasing decisions.
