128gb MicroSD?

Hello all! I'm rocking an F3 with a 64gb microSD. Storage is getting a bit thin, was hoping to upgrade to a 128gb card. Can anyone verify that this will work? From what I've read, as long as you can mount a 64gb card, this should be fine, but always like to check. Cheers!

I've read what you've read, and technical specs say the same thing. A device that can access a 54GB card has the capability of accessing a 128GB card. (If I ever get to the point that I run out of space on a 64GB card, I'll find a different hobby. Most of my files are stored on the cloud and my laptop [duplication], and I download them to the phone as needed. I haven't gotten to the point that I need Trini Lopez' "Medley of All Songs Ever Written" on my phone.)

Excellent, thanks for answering so quickly. Personally, I prefer having my music on a physical storage device rather than rely cloud access simply because it's so large, and many of the files are FLAC. Plus, helps keep the minutes down when wi-fi is scarce. Looking forward to the upgrade!

I keep my impoertant files on 2 different cloud accounts, my NAS (network drive) and my laptop, as well as on my phone. The odds of all of them going bad at the same time make my becoming a jetliner in the next 5 seconds almost a certainty.

Edit: "impoertant"? Cataract surgery on Thursday, a few days (maybe a week or two) to heal, then maybe I'll spot stupidity like this before I hit the Post button. Or maybe it's just more and more senior moments coming closer and closer together.

Let me know if it works. 128 gigs music sounds like a good idea to me

The 64 and 128 GB cards are typically formatted in NTFS. Reformat the main partition to FAT32 and you're good to go. Secondary (+ any additional) partition should be ext4.
