18 Sep 2012 AT&T OTA UPDATE BASEBAND VERSION I747UCLH9

Yea... your right. I should have paid more attention to the subject.

I am downloading the OTA update as I type. This will be my first experience with updating my S3. Is there a "readme" style document that spells out what is included in the uptdate?

Brian

I got my update today but tell any difference - how would I know if I have it or not?

I'm running an international unlocked version on the H2O (ATT) network.

I downloaded the AT&T OTA update and it installed on my phone without any problems. I have observed the following:

1. No obvious changes so far. I did notice a new small light colored "round cursor" as I swiped the lock screen.

2. After the phone rebooted, I got a Window 7 error message "Hardware ID Missing - on device currently connected to Samsung Composite USB Device port"

3. Started Kies. Kies connected once to the phone and reported the firmware level to be "I747UCALH9/I747ATTATH9/I747UCLH9/I747UCALH9 (ATT)". Keis also displayed a message saying the the phone was no longer firmware updatable using Kies.

4. I unplugged the phone and Kies disconnected but would not reconnect. Windows would not see the phone as a USB Storage device.

5. I cancelled and restarted Kies and ran the "Connection Troubleshooting" wizard. During that process Kies re-installed the USB device drivers. At the the end of the device driver install the I747 S3 phone was recognized again. Windows wanted a restart for one of the three USB driver components that were updated.

6. The phone connects to Windows and Kies normally now.

I would still like to see a list of changes and upgrades included in the "H9" upgrade. Anyone know where that can be found?

And what's with Kies not being able to do firmware updates anymore?

New OTA for AT&T Galaxy S III - xda-developers

everything so far.

Just finished my OTA update and the brightness slider is the only thing I've notice so far, but I just started playing with it so we'll see.

Notification bar brightness slider confirmed.

Updated, noticed the brightness slider, other than that nothing jumps out. No issues with my computer seeing it or any other issues at this time.

i noticed my connection to exchange server finally works through native mail app. i'll follow up with any updates later, if it fails.

Nice. Of course, this happens 2 days after I flashed CM10. Oh well, I love Jelly Bean. :) When the final AT&T Jelly Bean gets sent OTA, I'll flash back to stock and give it a whirl.

Glad to see the brightness change -- been waiting on that one and got tired of waiting.

I just got my Galaxy S3 a few days, new to Android. How do you get the OTA updates? Is there something I can force the phone to check for?

Someone in the XDA thread mentions the update fixed the Cell Standby issue, is anyone else seeing that? It still seems broken on mine.

Just updated. Jelly bean is awesome so far. Off the bat I noticed the phone is at least two times faster.

It's probably showing your old stats. Right to its fully charged to check it up. I heard it was fixed too.
