.181 updated

the only thing I noticed was that right after the update was done, my clock had a different font...but later it was back to the one I had been using from Beautiful Widgets..

oh wait, that reminds me - got an Angry Birds space update today too! see yas.

Edit, I just posted this and then saw the above link..sorry about that

Seems no better or worse than the previous update. I think they have hit a ceiling with gingerbread need to move on ;)

This update is probably a bridge.

+ 1. This seems to be the closing chapter of gb, on to better things.:driver:

I have noticed that since the update when I long press the blank screen to add a widget, that process has changed. It now opens up a verical bottom window to choose your operation. Not much, but it is a change.

I've noticed much better battery life! Like I can make it a day with 1 extra charge midday instead of 2 or 3!

I haven't received the .181 update yet for my Maxx.

Verizon website still says "Coming soon".

Are y'all part of the soak test, or are you getting the real update?

Probably too much to hope for... but does this mean I'll be able to get VVM on wifi now?

I refuse to pay for visual voicemail and for some reason google voice does not play well with my phone. Anyone using googlevoice successfully with the Razr?

I put it into another thread, but my biggest notice is data connection. The upgrade fixed the issue of dropping data coverage completely. One second it was there then the next second it was gone, very frustrating but all good now.

The other difference that I am seeing is the faster ping time when I do speed tests. It went from 100+ms to 50ms.

I,m sorry but I find that hard to believe that you are of the few that noticed a change in battery life, the fix would have been so small for that and you wouldn't even notice just like myself and most. They can only do so much n these updates without a new OS

I love my razr, I know when its happy, and I know when its sad.

After this update, it is more sad.
Though I have not yet established a pattern, there seems to be an uptick in FCs and complete lockups.

4x since the update, Ive had to hard-reboot. Normally, I might do this every 60 days or so.

Please Moto, if your not going to give ICS, PLEASE STOP SCREWING WITH MY RAZR.
