1GB "internal" storage enough?

I don't own an Android device now, but I was thinking about buying the Droid Incredible 2 (I need a Global phone for Europe and Asia business trips), but I read that it only has ~1 GB of 'internal' storage and 16GB "pre-installed" SD card.

Should I be concerned it only has 1GB of internal storage?

Nope, it is more than enough. Many phones do with even much less.
In addition, there is always the possibility of moving most of the apps to SD card in case there is a shortage of memory.

Nope. That 1GB is used only for App Storage, and with the general size of aOS apps right now (usually far under 25 mb for even the large games), you will have no problem. The 16GB SD card is far more important and is also more than enough for most everyone.

The original Droid Incredible only has 748MB available for internal storage (the 8GB is partitioned in a way that only 748 is available for apps and such). The Incredible 2 has 1.02GB. I do wish they went with a system like the Nexus @ (16GB internal) or even 2GB, but 1GB is sufficient.

Most games will install to the SD card directly. For example the RPG Spectral Souls will install 1GB right into your SD.

More and more apps are becoming Froyo friendly. Which means you can move them to the SD card.

Most big apps, like Google Earth, will let you move to SD card.

Other apps, even if installed on the phone memory, lets you store cache and data on the SD memory.

IGB is more than enough. I got tons of apps on my Nexus S, and it says 248mb used on the phone memory.
