Root [1st Gen] Finally decided to Root

Loving the Rooted version of the Kindle Fire! I was afraid of losing the access to the free Kindle stuff. What I found was the device was so painful to use it sat on my night stand.
 
So I assume you flashed a custom ROM? Hashcode's Jellybean has been working great for me. I have actually not updated it in about a month and probably should.
 
Hey mizzou how is the battery length on hashs rom? I was gonna look into a different rom that had a better length of usage, eyecandy seems to drain pretty fast.
 
It is better than it used to be. He did a kernel update in October that helped a bunch with idle drain. Charging light works now too.
