Root [1st Gen] Help...boots up yo TWRP only

help, rooted kindle 6.2.2 with burritoroot2, was working just fine then started haveing trouble. thought it was backup with TWRP, tried to go back to kindle but cant find any back up on it. Now after looking it seams it didnt back anything up. Have tried to load kindle driver but computer wont find it, only see android phone i have seen some of the post on here but dont know what to do next.

Here's my suggestion... since you still have TWRP, go to XDA and get a pre-rooted copy of the new .zip of the 6.3 Kindle Fire OS. Then, you can use TWRP to mount your Kindle as USB storage, so that you can copy the .zip to your Kindle memory. Then use TWRP to install the rooted update. That'll fix your OS problems. It will preserve your installed apps and settings.

This method does not require ADB, fastboot, or any drivers. Just requires a working recovery such as TWRP. Oh yeah, works fine with CWM, too.

Also, all others can use this update to bring your Kindle to the current version, without losing root, and without losing your custom recovery or bootloader. You must be on 6.2.2 to use this:
