1st time android looking for a phone+help please!

Android 1.5 is very crippling! I had purchased a cheap tablet for my kids that only had 1.5 available for it and it was awful!

For example, the Kindle app doesn't work on 1.5. There are MANY other applications that require 1.6 or better. IMO, you do not want a device that is running anything less than 2.1.

I know I'm going slightly off-topic by talking about this but does the Motorola XT502 come with 2.1?

and I've looked around and it looks like the xt5 doesn't go above 2.0 I think.

Looks like a great phone. Never heard of Eclipse though. But if you feel safe buying it on eBay, go for it. The specs look great and the dual sim feature is a major plus

yeah, trouble is I don't feel safe buying stuff from ebay. I'll keep looking in stores

Looks like an Chinese knock off. Prices are right but just make sure you are buying a device that will be supported.

Good deals can be had buying phones like this...but you may end up getting junk. Just be cautious
