Root 1x and 3g

I am looking for an EVO ROM, MOD or theme that will switch between 3G and 1X in the taskbar. Tired of the fact that HTC or Sprint removed the 1X option. I would like to know what speed data I am actually connected to.

I believe the Evervolv Gingerbread Beta has that included. I would have to restore my backup to verify it but I believe it was there. As far as anything 2.2, I have not seen it yet.

yes I'm running Evervolv, and can verify that it does show the 1x
