2.0 and Hero - from Cnet

Just makes you wonder why anyone is sticking with windows mobile. HTC and Sprint both have made similar statements. I guess they don't want to burn any bridges, but they need to face that android is the future.
 
The HTC smartphones will run on the Google Android platform, though Owens did not expand on features or form factor. He did say that Sprint is working on releasing an over-the-air Android OS update (unclear whether it will be Android 1.6 or 2.0) for the HTC Hero and the Samsung Moment, but it was important for the company to get these smartphones out to the market first.

Please!... Please!... read and search the forums before posting (cough..cough double/triple posting) a topic that has been and is currently active..

No onereally knows whats going on. Why cant we accept this? Why is it that when anyone finds any mention of the Hero (whether it be the CDMA or the GSM version) they feel the need to post the speculation?

We will get an update, it will just take sometime.
You have two choices Accept it, Leave it

I agree, everyone is seeing it. Android is undoubtedly the future
