2.1 and facebook contacts

i have my phone to sync with facebook and i get all the contacts, but when i send a text, they dont send because the facebook contacts are 44********** instead of +44********** or 0**********, how can i delete the facebok contacts, because i cant edit or delete them, i have set them to not sync but they are still there, please help

i just removed my facebook account from accounts and sync in settings, i dont use a facebook app anyway, i use facebook on the browser
