A little too sober to reply.
Actually, I think I will give a helpful reply. Motorola has 2.1 scheduled for sometime in the 3rd quarter. That's July-September, and the schedule is subject to change. Somebody who seemed to be in the know about updates said he'd heard "july", but that seems unlikely.
Regarding live wallpapers, don't expect them. They take a LOT of CPU, which the Backflip does not have to spare. The Aria was launched without them, and that thing screams next to the Backflip. Also don't expect Google Earth. The CPU just can't handle it.
