2.1 on Telcel, Mexico tomorrow Nov 15th

I haven't seen many guys from Mexico, but I post this just in case there's someone out there just lurking.

SE Mexico posted on their Facebook that the update was going to be available for Telcel tomorrow Nov 15th.

Can't wait. I'll be coming back with my impressions in one of the already created threads.

That's a very good news, but it tried to update my phone with pc companion and it said that i have the latest version...(1.6) ??? WTF... well i think i have to wait a little more
 
well im in telcel and i did the update 2 weeks ago fron xda global fw now my phone is x10i I dont know what it can affect in the future but I did because i never expect sony e or telcel do this fast cause the need to attach all their crap ideas and locks by our carrier comanded by slim the richest men in the world,,,, now im debranded but just by curiosity im gonna check if I can update now... cheers mates , and enjoy 2,1 wich is great and better

I upgraded my Xperia X10 with Telcel, downloades z4root, rooted the phone, uninstalled all Moxier and Ideas Crap with Titanium and it's working perfectly except for one thing..

I can't install GTalk APK!!

I don't know why Telcel uninstalls GTalk fron its Android Phones, I used an APK downloaded some time ago; but it does not work with 2.1 :(..

I tried installing these..

Google Talk .apk's - xda-developers

But don't work either.. :(

Does any one would be so kindly to pass me the Gtalk APKs for Xperia x10 2.1 Android :D?!?

I'm posting a new thread for this...

Install PC Companion on your computer and plug your phone, it will tell you that an update is available. If it doesnt say anything, try rebooting your phone, that's what I did.

Update the back up and restore application on PC Companion, and then just follow the steps in the wizard.

install google talk direct from your sd card, search for the app on the web, or try market too....

my global has it attached on the app screen menu. now im going to root my phone, my phone now is x10i, and in the start dont show my telcel carrier
 
waaaaaaaaaaaaa I think Im gonna die in here! I've done everything that SE says to do, and still I get the same message "your phone has the latest software" I don't get it!! what am i doing wrong??

HEy How did you delete the Ideas crap???

I installed z4root from the market and rooted my x10 with eclair only, then downliaded from market, also, titanium which lets me uninstall any system app like moxier and ideas, I obviously backed them up just in case...
 
I've already installed z4root and titanium and when I try to run titanium it says that my phone it's not rooted how do i root it exactly?
 
Activate USB debugging, Open z4root, click Root, it will take a while and reboot the phone. Then you can open titanium to unistall any app..

Be very Carefull not to unistall anything important!
 
ok so i must be the most ******ed person in the world ......... how do i reboot my phone?? (is it ok if i just turn it off and then turn it on ??)



anyways please tell me how do i update my freaking phone !!!!! plz
 
well anyways what i really want to know now, is how to uninstall the superuser app, it downloaded by itself and now i want to remove it!!!!! also I just downloaded the ADW launcher and already downloaded a theme, I can't figure out how to run it??? please help

1st: How do i remove the superuser app that downloaded by itself after i installed titanium??
2nd: What do i have to do to get the upgrade for Android 2.1 ??
3rd: How do i run the themes for ADW launcher???
