2.1 upgrade ?

I have the 1.5 right now as i didnt see any reason to update as my phone has left me happy. But i consider it now and want to know will i loose my apps if i update say i have shapewriter and its no longer avalible on the market and i update will i not be able to get it back. tia

Yes you will loose all once you upgrade, but you can back up your programs and install then again, or download from the market and install them from there, but keep in mind if you decide to do them from the Market which is the best way to do so, make sure you download all the apps from the market before you reboot as you have once chance to see all the programs in the download section, once rebooted your programs will not show anymore from the previous upgrade

Get my backup pro from the market, and you can save all your apps to your sd card and reinstall them later.
