Help 2.2 is killing my battery, help please!

Just upgraded to 2.2 and I can literaly watch my battery drain. I have task killer killing every 15 minutes but it is no use.

Lunch time and my phone is down to 30%

yes, task killers are NOT needed, and make things worse. Every time the task killer kills the tasks, android has to open and cache all those apps again, meaning more battery drain.

Thus your rapid battery drain. That will also cause system lag.

Your device is trying to run normally and smoothly as it should, and you've go an app in there called, "task killer," which is sabotaging that process.

Think of running a task killer as driving your car with one foot hard on the gas pedal and the other foot hard on the brake. You'll get nowhere fast, and burn up all of your gas in the meantime.
