2.2 OTA for MT3G w/3.5mm jack - when?

T-Mobile told me today (1/4/2011) that the Android 2.2 OTA update has not yet been released for the MyTouch 3G with a 3.5mm jack. Anybody have any better info, such as when it will be released)?

From what the guy told me at the t-mobile store, we might not be getting an update. Total bullshit IMO. If they forget about the people who have these types, like myself, T-mobile can take a flying leap for all I care.

well its a waste now that i rooted, plus idk if tmo removed tethering on it and if there is flash.

Tethering via USB is built right into 2.2. I have not tried installing an app for tethering via WiFi.

When my phone updated from 1.6 to 2.2 it was different also, but better. Mine is the earlier model without the 3.5mm jack. There were a few apps that would no longer work; one has since had an update and works again. I really like it much better with 2.2. Just take a few minutes and explore.
