2.2 update samsung galaxy apollo

So then basicly when is the update for our samsung galaxy apollo (GT-15800)

lookin on other peoples threads no one has a clue so is there going to be an update or not cos i think alot of people are wanting this new update now!!!

I tried to update my Apollo on the Telus network today, but no luck. The Telus website indicates an update is available. Kies also indicates the 2.2 update is available. Everything works to the end with the phone restarting about 10 minutes after the update starts. But the phone still has 2.1 on it. Managed to get to Samsung tech through the maze (everyone was very helpful) and they looked into it. A couple of hours later the Sam rep called back to say that....yes there is a problem, and it is on our end. They will call when it is rectified.

I'm trying to find the Samsung Apollo GT-15800 2.2 upgrade. I tries Kies, and it's still showing 2.1. (CSC-JG5)

Can anyone help?

Jeff, it hasn't been released through Kies in the UK. The only official UK upgrade is on Orange i5801 phones.

There's a sticky at the top of this section that will take you through a manual upgrade to 2.2, I'm a complete novice and I managed to upgrade successfully last week.
