2.3 on Orange UK

Well, firstly and the most surprising, is I've just got off the phone to Orange CS and I spoke to someone who actually sounded like they knew what they were talking about!

Orange will be releasing 2.3 to it's X10 customer, but on a model by model, and phone by phone basis, so don't hold your breath.

The reason she gave, and it still doesn't really make sense to me, is they don't want to release on mass, and then have all the phones break at once. This didn't really fill me with confidence; if it's breaking phones fix it!

oh well... you lost me at the reason she told you... it is a complete non-sense. 2.1 was mass pushed and phones did not break (well did not heard so).

People might sound confident and still tell you rubbish.

But good, at least you are getting the update

I got my update and I am on Orange UK.

Best just checking your phone and scan for updates on it.

As blaze_dave said, I scanned for updated on the handset, then updated PC Companion and upgraded through that.

Yet again Orange talking out of their excrement extractors.

I am on orange UK and have 2.3.3 on my X10 i got it on the 18th Aug.

I am also on Orange and upgraded my X10 to gingerbread 2.3 on 18th August
