2.35 update

[jamesbil]

Since updating my Htc to android 2.35 I have a notification in the top bar saying System Update download complete, tapping on it does nothing.
How do I remove it?

Also can I delete the update files from the downloads folder?

Thanks
James

You can delete the files from the download folder, yes. As for the download message: Try running the updater again. Settings > System Update > Check for update. That might clear the message.

I'm assuming you're not rooted.

Tried checking, no change, and dont know what it means to be rooted.
Phone is only 2 weeks old.
