2 Annoying things

hi all,
i just got my Samsung GS2 E4G a few weeks back and i like it but i still think my Evo 4g was slightly better. one issue i'm having is sending pictures via gmail, they always show up sideways and i'm holding my camera vertically (never had issue with Evo).
2nd issue is i have a ".foldername" on my sd card where i transfer private pictures to just so it doesn't show up on the gallery. when connected to the computer i can see this file fine in My Computer but i can't find this folder hen my GS2 is connected to the computer? very irritating indeed. anyone that may have a solution (if any) for my 2 issues would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about your first question but as for the second question, try this...

[For all of this to work, you MAY need to download Samsung Kies software to your computer before you do this (if you're getting "unknown device" when you plug the phone in). You don't need to use that software and it does not need to be running but you need to install it because it has all of the necessary drivers to connect the E4GT to your computer.]

Disconnect phone from computer then go to your home screen and select menu/settings/wireless and network/USB utilities/USB mass storage/press "connect storage to PC" button. Now plug the phone into your computer with USB cable and press "connect USB storage".

Now if you go to your PC and look in My Computer, you should see two new drive letters listed as removable disks. One of them is the 16GB of built in memory and the other one is your micro SD card. You should be able to see all of the folders on that card including the one you're looking for. Remember to "safely remove hardware" in the systems tray before unplugging the phone from the computer.

it worked, you're a genius thank you very much! pain in the a$$ to have to do this extra step instead of just plugging in and showing up in my computer but i'll get over it. thanks again!
