2 different apps or the same thing?

What is the difference between ADVANCED TASK MANAGER and ADVANCED TASK KILLER? It seems like they do the same thing no? Which is the better of the two?
 
I had Advanced Task Killer, but it caused more problems than it solved. It wouldn't always kill the task, often caused other apps to start, made the phone laggy, and caused me to factory restart, never realizing that was the app causing the issue.

The Droid doesn't really need a task killer b/c it has one built in. Settings > Applications > Manage Apps or Running Apps does anything you need to do, anyway.
