UPDATE- ended up wiping the phone and using the new email address
Android newbie here, hoping someone might have already worked through the issues I'm having with my HTC Hero CDMA (stock 2.1), multiple Gmail accounts and Outlook 2010 (32 bit, running on Windows 7 32 bit).
I initially set up the Hero using my personal Gmail address. I have since set up a business email address via Gmail (using a custom domain). I have been able to import my contacts from Outlook but not sync them. I can also sync the calendar to my personal Gmail account and also view my business calendar (added by URL).
What I cannot figure out is how to sync my contacts without signing up for Google Apps (which I might do anyway). And I would prefer using my business account as the primary device email. I understand the phone is tied to the personal email unless I wipe the phone data (which might be okay) and register it again using the business email.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the simplest way to accomplish what I want to do? Thanks in advance.
