2 Pattern Unlocks - curious??

I’ve recently noticed my girlfriend entering two separate patern unlock codes (one straight after the other) on her Samsung Galaxy S8.
I suspect she’s trying to hide something. Can anyone help with what app might be installed that requires entering different pattern unlock codes on identical successive screens?

I suspect an app locker.

Or some third party lockscreen app (which she might prefer just for some customisation) if she's entering them straight after each other.

Or maybe she just values her privacy or security? I don't have anything to hide from my wife on my phone, and she does know my PIN, but I'd still not enjoy her poking through it (and I never poke through hers), and we've been together for 35+ years. So even if she's locked some apps that doesn't necessarily mean anything you should worry about.

You could just ask her "Why do you need 2 patterns to unlock your phone?". If she asks why you ask you just noticed and were curious, as it seems a lot of trouble.

Most 3rd party lock screen apps don't disable the Android lock pattern so it's quite possible that your gf needs to enter two patterns if she set it up that way. If she was using an app lock, it would be unlikely to enter one after the other since she'd have to unlock the screen, launch the app and then unlock that.

I tried asking and all I got was dishonesty.
