2 player gaming over wifi or 3g possible on SNESoid, Gameboid etc...?

The emulators available on PSP have 2 player gaming through wifi connectivity, would this be possible on the droid? 3g seems like it would be a little more difficult. I'm hoping the emulators get multiplayer support at some point. Does anyone know if there is hope?
 
This thread should be in the Games section, not the Droid section, shouldn't it?

Anyways, I'd rather see actual android games with multiplayer (BT/3G/WiFi) than emulators.
