Help 2 problems

For the past, oh, month or so, I've been experiencing heavier battery drain (surprise surprise) and according to GSam Battery monitor, most of it is caused by Kernel and Android System. I don't actually know what any of the processes are but surely the system shouldn't be causing as much drain as it does. Typically, about 70-75% is caused by "app usage" and within that, 20-40% is caused by the system and kernel. I updated to JB about 2 weeks ago but it was happening before that. Is there something wonky going on?

Second, ever since I updated to JB, Zynga Games has been haunting my phone. It wasn't there before but it has popped up in my applications list and has happily settled itself in my app drawer. I don't want it, so I moved the icon in the app drawer into a folder I've lovingly titled "junk" and disabled it in the applications list. But a few days later it was back. It had escaped the app draw and re-enabled itself. I went through the process again, and still it returned. Every time I try to get rid of it, it pops up again. How the hell do I get this little guy to leave me alone? Is it a T-Mobile issue? I'm not rooted and don't plan on rooting.

Here we go. Note: It's actually been off charge since about 7:45 this morning, not for ~6 hours. I had to restart the phone earlier today because my data was going wonky. I also don't know why there are so many wake locks or any of that. If they're they're problem (which I'm pretty sure they are) then something is wrong because I haven't been using my phone any differently than I did before it started doing this.

Do you have the Samsung apps, including sync, installed? There were posts on here about them causing high battery usage.

I disabled ALL Samsung apps back when I first saw that thread. Facebook isn't normally that high, actually. I just happened to be using it a lot at work because I was having a conversation with someone.
