Help 2 random vibrations

Lately my Galaxy has begun to randomly vibrate. Typically the vibrations are 2 short vibrations spaced about 5-10 seconds apart. There are no messages on the screen when this occurs and I have no idea what could be causing it

It will happen in my hand or in my pocket or on the charger.

Any ideas? Or do I need to put in an insurance claim?

It just started , i even flashed a new rom on the phone to see if that would help, it didn't

Is it similar to the "force close" vibrations which were evident till 2.2. ?

hmmm, if after flashing a completely new rom (different from the previous rom) and it still does it, it could be an indicator of failing hardware. However, it is still possible that the double vibration is some kind of notification that the rom developer used to mimic the stock rom.

I suspect it may be failing hardware as well
