20 GB of apps?

How is that possible? I added up the total size of all the apps I downloaded and got about 2.5 GB. I know the Android system takes up some space, but 20 GB of apps seems a bit ludicrous. I've moved everything I can to the SD card but still have space issues.

Anyone know how much space apps take up stock out of the box?

Go to Settings -> Apps -> All, and sort them by size to see which ones take up the most space. (Stock Android can sort by size, I'm assuming the G4 can too.)

Some apps increase their size over time with cached data which can be cleared. Tap on a listed app then Clear Cache.

I used the disk usage app and found there was 18.5 GB of garbage images in the cache somewhere. I deleted them and got my storage space back. I hope I didn't delete anything I needed.

The size of an app you see in the store and many app managers is only the size of the apk file. Most apps produce cache and used data files which end up way larger than the original apk files. Look in the app manager in your stock settings and look at the size of the apps data and add it to the original & it'll surprise you (g plus can reach 300 or more MB easy ) ..also if you download and install apps from places other than the store, the apks from those apps are not deleted and build up
