Help 2008 Civic Si and Moto Droid AUX audio issue.

Okay, so I have an '08 Honda Civic Si which has an AUX jack. I use a 3.5 to 3.5 plug and tried playing Pandora and some saved music. The music played from both sources, but only through the left channel. When I changed the FADE over to the right speakers, no sound. Any thoughts?

get a new cable. had the issue before. your cable is just getting shorted out, usually where it plugs into the phone

That was my first thought too, just wanted to make sure this was not a known issue. I'll try a new cable and post the results.

Some DROIDs have also had issues with the headphone jack itself. It's one reason I prefer *not* to use it.

Check your jack with a standard set of headphones.

As with all troubleshooting, you need to eliminate possibilities before you have a sound conclusion. It *could* be the cord, it could be the jack, it could be the input jack on your car's audio deck, it could be the audio (although I am doubting that, as I am guessing that you have played this audio before)....
