2012 NBA Playoffs

Heat close out in Miami Thursday night and don't go back to OKC. They win tomorrow night and the Thunder realize at that point it's pretty much hopeless. Heat in 5.

Looks like the Heats are gonna win. I don't think any team has come back from 3-1 down in the Final. Teams have come back from down 3-1 before, but never in the final.

Nobody has come back from 3-1 in the Finals. If the heat lose 3 straight, that would be the ultimate collapse/choke.

All the games have been close, so I wouldn't count Thunder out. All they have to do is close out 4th quarter. Although I don't think it's likely, I can see them being the first team winning three in a row.

Uh... what have they shown you the last 4 games against the Heat (where they only won one at home) that makes you believe this? Personally, I haven't seen anything from them against the Heat that says they can win one more let alone three.

I originally had a bet that the Heat would win in 7, but I think I'm going to have to change that to 5. Heat should be taking this series tonight.

I'm glad to see that LeBron might have his first ring. He's an amazing player and athlete.

Anyone else find it hypocritical that If Lebron dropped 43pts and then had two HUGE mistakes in the last couple minutes of the game he would be annihilated by the media as a 'choke artist' who 'only plays the first 45min of a game' the next day yet in the last couple days it's nothing but excuses for Westbrook and how he put his team in a position to even be in the game at the end with his heroic play the previous three quarters. To say Lebron is unfairly criticized is akin to saying Michael Jordan was a decent basketball player.

Russell Westbrook didn't call a press conference to announce what team he was going to, then throw a huge celebration when he got there like he won something when he hasn't won shit and proclaim he was going to win 7 championships. He also didn't anoint himself "The King". LeBron is a piece of shit.

Rusell Westbrook also didn't raise $1 MILLION DOLLARS out of NOTHING for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Lebron did with 'The Decision' and that's a part often glossed over by those who are hell-bent on hating him. Lebron raised more in a single hour for a very worthy charity than Westbrook has his whole life yet he's a piece of shit? Kind of hard to take people serious when they parrot such hatred.

Haters gonna hate.

Funny how folks like to make the decision a big deal. Nobody complain when Boston got their big 3.The man honor his contract and is entitle to go as he please. As for the 7 championship we all know he was being facetious. As for King James, he got that in his High school days at Saint Mary HS.

The fact that the majority of the games, they lead for 3 quarters and then choke at the end. If they could close out the fourth quarter and play some defense, I dont see why not. Unfortunately the momentum is with Heat, and playing in Miami doesn't help either.

That's really not a quantifiable reason they can win 4 straight when the only game they won was 4 losses ago. Good teams win close games.

BTW, this was my prediction after game 1 when OKC won. When everyone else was predicting a Thunder sweep and a dismantling of the Heat as we know it I was predicting a win in game 2 on OKC and then a sweep at home for a 5 game finals. You could see it in LBJ's eyes after game 1 and I didn't see him allowing them to lose another game. Dude is unreal. I realize it's a team game but he was doing some stuff on both sides of the court all game long, every game that I've never seen anyone do. Heart of a champion.

Congrats to OKC for getting to the finals and beating some VERY good teams to do so (the stat I saw was they beat teams that are responsible for 10 of the last 12 championships) but this was just Miami's year. Lebron's year. Congratulations Miami Heat. Enjoy the celebration because you earned it.

congratulations juwan howard. you are a champion. btw... love the heat, love lebron (mostly lebron), love wade,.....but, the heat will only win this one championship. they are a one trick pony. they sorta learned how to play like a team...but...
oh... and where are all the clowns who said san antonio was gonna come out of the west? blow that team up baby. LA and OKC is all you got for a long long time over there. in the east, knicks, heat, and...... the BULLS will be the teams to beat for the next few years.. the bulls are one big man away from killing some teams

So glad to see the Heat win this title. I really like the guys on their team. I haven't really pulled for an NBA team since the MJ days...But last night the Heat dominated the Thunder, not only that but every game in Miami their fans were going crazy in that arena. You know that had to pump that team up. Obviously the Heat has a plethora of talent but i really like Wade, not taking anything away from LBJ we all know he's a boss, but Wade is so freakin explosive and can just move more fluid than most. Anyways Congrats to the Heat and to their Fans and yes to Howard's old self as well lol good to see him get a ring before shutting the bus down.

One trick pony? ROFL I guess that one trick is winning championships then.
