Hi guys! Trying to follow this http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-elite/611276-switch-back-25-a.html

Well they say go to Switch Plan, and then click Can't see your plan here. well that was nearly a year ago and the website must have changed because i cannot find it! Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get on the 25$ plan. Is it still possible? Or as they are saying close to the end of the page its gone??

I know its only a 10Buck save but in our situation those 10bucks can add up and we really need to save when possible. Thanks for the help!

This loophole was available last fall, and to my knowledge closed for good around the end of last September.

Only way NOW to get it is from buying a grandfathered account off someone. Check eBay or Craigslist. Expect to pay $50-$150 depending if it comes with a phone or not. Also, you will be stuck with whatever phone number is assigned to that account already (since I'm pretty sure you can only port in to a new account).

IMHO, it's not really worth it nowadays, especially considering the fact that the best (spec wise) allowable phones on the plan is the Optimus Elite and Motorola Triumph (to activate/swap anything newer will force you off the $25 plan)

Indeed. It's worth noting that even if one switches to the $35 plan, by going to a newer phone, you're still getting basically the best plan out there from any carrier that I've seen. I haven't found anything comparable to what Virgin has plan-wise.
