who is a hockey fan here? who is excited about the new season? who is your team?

i have been a LA Kings Fan, since we acquired Gretzky. i am so looking forward to this season. i think this will be the Kings breakout season.
 
I'm a huge hockey fan and always will be.
Growing up in the Detroit area I had my Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs games on local channels and still do to this day.
I know the Wings will never have the superstar lineup that won them cups in the 90s and 00's but having Yzerman back as GM is exciting.
 
so my KIngs lost the home opener to the golden knights 4-3.......boo!!!!!!!!

never the less i like what i see in scoring. we just need to hunker down defensively.
 
the kings got their first win of the season!!!!!!!!!!! beat the wild 7-6. talk about no defense.....lol 35 vs 34 shots on goal. we need to get that tighten up. like i said our offense is good but defensively we need work. i mean we only had 5 hits for the game 5 HITS!!!!!!!!
 
i think it is weird that the bottom 3 in the Pacific division are teams that have been tops in the division for decades. Vancouver, San Jose, and LA are all at the bottom. the canucks and sharks are winless. the kings just won their 1st game......i know it is only 2 or 3 games in. just weird to see.
 
so we have been up and down since the start of the season. i think the young guys was just trying to figure themselves out.....just trying to get an identity as a team. the last two games have been what i was more expecting out of this group.

Congrats to coach McLellan for his 100th win as a Kings coach.

we just beat St Louis....now onto Dallas!!!!!!!!!!
