$249.00 for 32GB on Amazon Prime day!

I also ordered one on Prime day and it was delivered today. Charged it, then set it up. Noticed a light blue dot approximately 3/16 of a inch in diameter, lower right of center on screen. Only visible if you are viewing a screen with a white background. Took a screenshot and viewed it in landscape. Couldn't see the dot so figured it was a defective screen.
Contacted Amazon to see about getting it replaced since purchased at $100 off. They said that since it was offered and sold by them and that they had sold out, they would refund the full price AND I COULD KEEP THE DEVICE. NO RETURN.
Wow! Now that's customer service!

My original one is only a 16gb. Been wanting a 32gb for a while and waiting for price to drop. Saw Prime Day as my chance and jumped on it first thing when I woke up. Light blue dot is barely noticeable if on a white background and I can certainly live with it for free. My concern was that it would get worse was reason for return.

It was a good deal, until the tax comes in.
8% tax isn't bad at all, even by US standards, in some states this would be 10% or more... If you bought this in Europe, VAT would have made the total over $300, at least the buyer doesn't live in Bhutan where it would be $375 total with their 50% sales tax rate.

I have 2 days to return it if I want to.... Any battery life tips with this phone?
Lol... Yeah... Don't use it outdoors.

Seriously, the phone is great and battery life is acceptable, as long as you can keep the screen brightness down... On average my screen uses 80%+ of the battery. Turn off adaptive brightness and set the brightness under 20% and you will get 3.5-4 hours SOT without much trouble. Everything else makes negligible difference by comparison.

I was outside all day the other day and had to make the screen brighter to see the phone.... My Galaxy 4 seems brighter at a lower brightness than this phone does. The day wasn't even half over and I was down below 40%.

Yeah, battery life is the only really bad thing about this phone... The battery life is still better than my old Nexus 4, but is pretty pathetic compared to the Moto G 2015 I had before this. I'm still debating on shelving this phone as an emergency phone and ordering a Moto G4.

The problem with the battery for me is that it has degraded significantly over the last ten months. I wonder if anyone has complained and been able to get a battery replacement under warranty?
