Help 25% Battery Notification

Hello a recent update has started giving me a 25% Battery Notification that at times is not dismiss able and always stays on top. This makes it not possible to shutdown normally but requires a battery removal. I think it gets stuck like this when in a horizontal position, but not vertical. I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5, , Model Number SM-G900V; Android Version 6.0... Any other people with this problem? Or know of a way to turn off the notification?

Happened to me last night with my s6 active. Was in the middle of videoing and auto race. couldn't complete the task. Really crazy with all the new looks of stuff. Don't like it.

Roelovic,

How did you figure that out? I can verify that it works! This is a pre-installed app required by Android, I would still like to use it for my IR, so I only uninstalled updates. I noticed that it also gave me a different pop up before even with my notifications not allowed as well so double benefit.

No need to totally disable Peel Remote. Simply disable notifications. Start Peel app, tap gear icon (top right), Notifications, uncheck Battery Saver Alerts. I also unchecked Ringer Alerts that were also bugging me.

I'm sorry, but from my experience that did not work. I had all notifications off via app manager and I was still receiving the popup. The in app setting only have a 30 day max timeout.
