27 apps trying to update at once

My wife's Samsung Transform has auto update selected for all of her apps. They, of course, have not been auto updating and for the first time in a while, she hit the update all button. Now there are 27 apps trying to update. The phone is very slow and the updates are just stuck at downloading at 0%.

Does anyone know a way to stop these updates? I can't get in the marketplace because after about 10 seconds, an error comes up saying android has to force close.

I've tried a hard reset multiple times.

Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, not sure if this will work but it is worth a try. Go to settings, then applications, then manage applications, and try to uninstall the apps that are trying to update.

You will need to click Menu->Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->"All" tab->"Market" app->Clear Cache and Clear Data to stop the Market app from updating the apps.

Never would have thought of that. Grateful for the help, as I'm sure OP will be as well.
