if you're connected to the internet you can see the letter in the notification bar above the two arrows, if it's an e you're on 2g, if it's 3g or h you're on 3g

hmmm.. strange i ve subscribed for 3g bt i dont get a 3g i just get an E.. VODAFONE YOUR GONNA GET SUED!! :mad: :mad:

it also depends on where you are, maybe the mobile network in your area isn't capable of 3g. also make sure to uncheck "only use 2g networks" in your network settings

hmmm. idk abt that.. spoke to the vodafone people yesterday... now it says 3g but still it keeps shifting between the 3g symbol and a H.. what does this H mean?

i always forget those stupid abreviations but i'm gonna try anyways:
g = gprs = 2g
e = edge = 2.5g but still very slow
3g = 3g (obviously)
h = hsdpa = 3.5g
little side note: "=" is mathematically incorrect but i hope you don't mind

i didn't notice any difference between g and e, both are extremely slow so don't even try to watch youtube or stream music, 3g is quite ok and h is really awesome ;)
