Is anyone else getting limit to 2g speeds? I received a text from vm saying they wouldn't limit you to 2g until may, but I'm only getting max .12 kbps.

Today I received a Free Text Message from VM stating after you hit their 2.5 GB Cap, data speeds will be reduced to 2G standards.

Earlier today I was browsing the internets on my phone and I had EXTREMELY slow speeds. I mean it was taking foreeeeever to load anything. So I opened up speedtest and I was only getting about 0.01 Mbps (3g). A little while after that I received the text. Then a few hours later I did ran speedtest again and my speeds were back to normal. I've also noticed that the past few weeks I've been getting terrible 4g speeds.

my buddy who uses ALOT of data said the same thing about the internet not really working due to slow data speeds. hes called twice in a month and yelled enough for them to reset the throttle....

is virgin really gonna put us on 2G?? 3G sucks but its better then 2G!!!

Well I called Vm, and basically told them the story, they said I was the first person to call in reporting this, so if you're getting limited to 2g speeds, please call in and report this. After a good bit of people call in, they will give a response to this, so again please just call in and report this.

This is going to buried now, but if you do come across this, just call VM and report that you are 2g speeds (if you are don't lie). Hopefully after a couple reports they will actually do something about this.

.12 isn't too strange here in Fresno (even on 3g) our coverage is still not up to par but there is lots of tower activity going on so hopefully LTE soon!

I have 4g lte, and I'm getting this, on 3g you should be getting 256kbps when throttled, if not call VM

Boost and Virgin Mobile will also be counting 4G LTE data use along with 3G EVDO, so whether your on LTE or 3G it will go towards your allotment of 2.5GB monthly. Starting in May your speeds will be further reduced to 128kbps instead of 256kbps when going over 2.5GB of high-speed data.

if they were not selling data to about 12 mvno vendors, maybe they would have enough room for their own customers on sprint, vm, and boost withOUT 2G throttling!!!!!:
