Did anyone else see that a 2 GB sandisk microSD is included?

Looks like jib is right. "Limited Introductory Offer: 2 GB SanDisk MicroSD Card" Under the accessories tab on vzw Droid Incredible page.

I didn't see any posts mention it... And honestly I think they would of considering it was a hot topic...

More likely its a typo on the Verizon site :(
 
Considering there is a known issue with some apps needing a SD card (unable to use the internal memory without code changes) it makes sense for VZ to throw in a small cheap SD card until that is fixed...

And, like many other new things, I would not be suprised if this was the first we heard about it and that is why it isn't in the official thread.
 
If best buy has already received their shipments of Incredibles, which I believe they have, I doubt they will get the 2GB SD card. This will be a VZW only offer because its obviously not a standard feature on the phone. Everyone who has pre-ordered their Incredible from VZW since the 19th should also receive it.

As did I... not that I need one but I was part of what i was supposed to get so I'll bring it up if its not in there.

Could be an online only order (Ppl who got them early were phone orders)
 
could def be a verizon last minute incentive bc they heard of the app not using internal.
my buddy bought storm 1 when it first came out and he got a microsd card from vz, but it was not in the actual storm's box. vz seemed to add it late.

good stuff... but really.. who wants a 2 gb card ???;)
 
I just got off the phone with a verizon CSR who verified that the pre-order Incredibles will come with the 2Gb card already installed. So thats cool!

I also just got off the phone with a Verizon rep and he told me that it probably won't if it was ordered on Monday.
I guess we will have to wait and see.
 
That's funny actually. The engadget review said that it cauised problems for apps not to see an SD card because they couldn't see the built in storage. They made a statement that "it wouldn't have hurt VZW or HTC to have thrown in a 2gb SD card to rectify this situation" (not an exact quote but close paraphrase). So I think it's hilarious that they DID IT!
 
I'm so glad they decided to throw that in. I was worried that I was going to have to dish out another $20 to get an sd card to even get the phone to run any apps.
 
wow, just checked for myself and the site does say this. i wonder if the one i pick up from best buy next thursday will have this included. it better!
 
I just bought a 16 gb off ebay for cheap, lots of music and pictures and apps going on this phone!
