Root [2nd Gen] fix error message

Help. I am getting an error message after rooting my kindle fire. Error message:the application for googleplay store has stopped unexpectedly.

Please advise how to simply correct this issue.

you could try going to app management in located in settings. then go to google play store and clear the cache. try and see if that works. if not theres a few other things, but that will usually take care of it.

Tried it... and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

I just noticed it said you got the error after rooting. Might be that gapps didnt install correctly. download gapps Goo.im Downloads - Downloading gapps-ds-ERE36B-signed.zip and boot into twrp then flash the gapps zip. see if that fixes it.
