Root [2nd Gen] How to Root All Kindle Fire Models 6.3.1 and up

1.Go to Settings, Device, Allow Installations of Applications :on

2.Go to Security, Enable ADB
3.Have a complete battery charge or 70% or above

For the stock kindle fire: 1. Plug in via Micro USB 2.download kindle fire utility 0.9.6 3. press 3 and wait 5 minutes or less.
for the kindle fire hd: 1. Plug it in via USB 2. Download Root with restore by bin4ry and make a new folder and call it rooting and move to desktop 2. open up command prompt 3. type cd desktop/rooting and hit enter 4.then type RunMe.bat and press 1 and you should have root within 5 minutes or less. Please Note that your kindle fire hd will reboot.
Don`t worry. it is normal. I will show you how to do many things that will require root very soon. Ta TA

Unless I am misreading something this (the Kindle Fire utility) does NOT work for the 2nd Generation model, only the 1st gen.
