Can someone post a direct link to the 2nd-init recovery for this phone please. I want to flash some things in recovery but don't really want to unlock my bootloader. Im happy with stock and am not trying to install a rom.

Ok installed but it won't reboot into recovery

Unlock your bootloader its worth it because cm10.2 is great and the battery lasts a lot longer than stock
I have stock LGMS76910b rooted and it works (just hold pressed volume down at booting).

Oh I got it installed but now I'm bricked and pc won't recognize the phone to do kdz upgrade

Phone was still under warranty so played dumb at metro corporate and got a new one free

Nice. But that won't solve the issue of unbricking the phone
We could unbrick using the kdz flash if the computer would just recognize the phone. I was able to install all drivers except the mtp driver (the one needed to do the software update). I found a link for version 10d and 10b downloaded it and tried everything I could but no luck. I know when I initially bought the phone I installed all drivers from the phone and the latest lg drivers but for some reason it still wasn't showing they were installed...

Ok so when using this on stock locked BL it does allow backup and restore? Which busybox did you use?

Im pretty sure it's probably by stericson correct? I have Busybox pro 1.21.1 by stericson.

Idk, I installed the recovery with the busybox pro I had installed and it wouldn't boot into recovery. Uninstalled busybox pro (smart uninstall through app) and installed the busybox z (recommended from the xda thread), was able to get into recovery, rebooted, but again got white screen with encrypting at the top like last time I tried it. I then went back into recovery and made a backup. I restored backup but it failed to restore system. I then rebooted again and everything was back to normal but now I can't get into recovery anymore. I don't know what the heck is going on here but all I want to do is have a backup that I can restore if I screw up anything moding.
