Just as ASUS promised, 3.2 has just downloaded and installed on my EeePad, here in the UK.

Double celebration for me, as Gingerbread 2.3.3 just downloaded onto my Desire Z too.

Very happy gadget freak here :D:D:D

PS. Not sure about the circle pointer ...

oh good lord, thats the circle pionter they're on about? urgh....but, could do with a crosshair like a target...then have a mini app where you shoot stuff on your home screen and get world peace!!!....early mornings are not for me, but to confirm 3.2 on my AEPT UK. must admit its better typing on here, the lag isnt AS bad but its still laggy on java forms...

posted it somewhere else, but yeah that hold one finger and scroll with another is no more.

hold 2 of your fingers on the pad and drag both up and down now.

pinch and zoom is how enabled on the trackpad...

and no, the pointer has gone, replaced by that circle thing.

3.2 Installed this morning Lincolnshire UK and all appears to be working well.

Anyone obtained a listing of any changes in 3.2 & bug fixes ?

i know, massive is an understatement...., there should be a dot in the middle of it for more accurate selecting, im sure some dev out there will come up with a solution....PLEASE???

Have you tried pinch zooming on the trackpad? The circle splits into two circles (where your fingers are). Kinda neat, but I'd still like the option of choosing a pointer.

Something else I noticed, when I try to scroll on the trackpad using two fingers, the screen starts to zoom (though that could be down to my sausage fingers).

haha

hey all, just to let you know, ive re-enabled the open GL rendering again on the default browser and holy cow! its working absolutely fine now! 3.2 seems to have sorted that out. dont gt be wrong there is still a lil lag but it usable at least! WOOOOOOOT!!!!!

yeah pinch and zoom ive noticed the 2 seperate dots representing your fingers.

in regards to the zooming action? Ive found it best to actually using your index and middle finger together, side by side to aviod the fingers drifting apart and accidentally zooming.

Found this ... Transforming Your Life

Android 3.2 is here!
From the 2nd August, Transformer owns will have the option of installing Android 3.2 via a FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update.

One of the biggest changes with 3.2 is the compatibility zoom. Smart zoom smartphone apps to fit the native resolution of the screen, so all you favourite apps will now use the entire screen in all its hi-def glory.

A change that is a big one for the Transformer is that the touchpad on the Keyboard Dock will have multi-gesture support! This means that you will be able to use your touchpad in exactly the same way you use the touchscreen on the pad!

i actually quite like the upgrade. feels faster and more responsive. i don't mind the circle and the touch pad change is nice... not noticed any thing bad yet.

The change from an arrow pointer to a massive circle has seriously downgraded usability by removing the precision that was originally available.
