can someone help me please,i have a g3 and a alpine stereo and i got a 3.5 mm cable to go to the aux on the alpine.cant i use that to make calls through my stereo, phone etc.. will it work good or do i have to get the blue tooth box for $120,the stereo does not have bluetooth without outboard box..thanks so much!

you can connect it and talk but the phone would need to be close enough to ure face so the other person can hear you. its better if you try it out once and see how it works and take a call accordingly.
