Help 3 months and finally an issue

3 months into it and my Note finally decided to quit on me. It was working fine all day and after sitting for a moment I picked it up to text and my screen wouldn't swipe to unlock. My power button and home button work but anything that involves the screen, doesn't work. I've removed the battery nothing. Tmobile told me to clear the cache by doing the power, home, up volume thing , nothing. I did the factory reset, nothing. So now I have to wait on a replacement. Any other ideas to try while I wait. I really don't want to use this "other" phone I have. Thanks

We've seen it reported around various forums that a root and rollback to the previous os resolves the issue, as it is a known bug in some of the released versions of the latest.

I'd do what you say you're doing, though; get a new one on warranty.
